Hammer & Helix

Communism has a logo, so why not Info/Nanosocialism? Certainly other ideologies would find it useful to have one symbol to represent all the evils of Infosocialism.

This is my attempt to render the hammer & helix symbol of the Transpacific Socialist Alliance. The hammer represents industrial workers and is a direct copy of the hammer from the old communist hammer & sickle, indicating the ancestry of Infosocialism. The helix represents biotechnology specifically, and digital information in general. In the symbol it is in the act of splitting, the first step of DNA replication, thereby representing the first tenet of proto-Infosocialism: Information wants to be free.

This next picture is of the redesigned flag of the People's Republic of Thailand (PRT), showing the hammer & helix gules (Pantone 186) charged against a field azure (Pantone 289). These colours are those of the present-day flag of Thailand, restored by the Chinese-installed puppet government after the Pacific War.

This last picture is the Thai version of the TransPacific Socialist Alliance Aerospace Force roundel. Possibly the last thing you might glimpse if your ship is targeted by a rogue AKV.

A vector-drawn PDF version of the PRT flag, suitable for scaling to any size can be downloaded here. (68K)
